Plain tigers are out !

Finally they are coming out, one by one. Four of them have already come out. We are expecting the rest of them in the coming days.

We got a total of 15 pupae of Plain tiger. This time we could see all of them turning to pupae from their caterpillars. There are two types- white and green, as seen in the picture, yet to find out why are they so.. They are on their way to become butterflies. We all are expecting their amazing arrival.

Again tigers have arrived...  A lot of Plain tiger larvae on our erikku plant. Last time only one of them survived their predators. This time we hope to rescue all of them from the pests.

Curious woody bug

This little bug was found on our Njara tree (a bonsai on our terrace). It has used small twigs from the tree to make its dwelling shell. Neatly arranged as in a truck load of timber.

Snowbell !!

Our new kitty 'Snowbell'. He is not exactly our's, he just arrived from the neighbourhood along with his parents - dad and mom. He is slowly getting friendly. The whole family stays in our backyard. Snowbell sometimes sneaks in.
